Two weeks ago we had an Easter Egg Hunt at church which we attended on Saturday morning. My YW aged girls helped to set it up. My younger Primary children enjoyed the fruits of their labor after a breakfast of muffins and juice there.
Nathan was so impressed with seeing the Easter Bunny and couldn’t wait to go up and give him a little hug. Nathan was in awe. Tristan is in the middle decorating his bag and picking out goodies of pencils and erasers for it. Kaitlyn picked out some bracelets at the prize table.
Lindsay helps Nathan out. Haley was off somewhere with friends and serving as the Easter Bunny’s guide.
Tristan makes a pretty cute Easter Bunny himself… and Nathan LOVES the blue Easter Bunny that came in the basket that he won as a door prize, thanks to big brother who put Nathan’s name in the drawing at the last minute. I didn’t get any pics of the outdoor egg hunt itself.
At home we decorated out Eastern Redbud, as we do every year for Easter. This year the red buds were out in full bloom already and there were tons of flowers on it for the first time. We thought our tree looked quite beautiful.
We realized that our Red-bud grew quite a bit last year after all that rain. The kids loved hanging up the eggs on it. Rick didn’t enjoy cutting the grass on this day. March is a little too early to cut grass in his book.
These were some of our fun Easter activities that the kids enjoyed.
