This year Rick and I divided up with the kids since we had two children participating at two different levels of ability as well as different interests and five children with us in total. I followed Kaitlyn with Nathan interested and these are the pictures that Kaitlyn and I took. Kaitlyn had the luxury in Kindergarten of not having to do X number of activities or having to experiment at certain levels. We just played, investigated and had a good time. We spent most of our time in her Kindergarten room with many sensory activities. We also went and found every live animal activity in the school that evening. I think it’s already obvious that we like animals.

Nathan used the magnifying glass to examine EVERYTHING! We pet the bunny and fed him. The scent and beauty of so many flowers invaded our senses.
Roxi is the bird in Kaitlyn’s classroom along with Brownie the resident turtle. We found a large friendly dog who enjoyed being pet. Kaitlyn asked to take a picture of him.
We found a LARGE snake to pet or touch and another turtle.

Nathan was brave with a snake that long. And with our last few minutes as we waited for the older ones to finish up we did something completely different and made milk art rainbows. That is a fun way to “play” with color and learn how colors swirl and combine to make new colors. As long as your milk has at least some fat in it it works great. Amazingly fun! We look forward to Math & Science Night every year.
