Rick went back to work this week, just when we were finally adjusting to a summer routine. My kids have been enjoying their last couple of days of freedom right here at home; and that’s exactly how they wanted it.

Bubble popping and jump ropes…
Riding and sharing…
Investigation and Imagination…
Moving, pushing, baking…
Sharing “blue fairy fudge” treats and molding sweets…
Bicycle riding and long walks through the neighborhood…
Big sister surprises and watering plants…
Walking around and gliding through space…
“Me time” for reading and “Me time” for building…
Summertime freedoms are fading…
