Nothing gets my kids running to the kitchen faster than the sound of frozen chocolate chips hitting the bowl for a batch of homemade cookies …
… except the sound of dried beans being poured into my grandmother’s bean pot to be soaked for dinner!
The sounds are nearly identical and they both send the kids running every time. It makes me laugh.
