“Go Green!” says a sleepy Mr. T first thing this morning.
Reduce – Reuse – Recycle (Sing to the tune of “The More We Get Together)
Reduce, reuse, recycle, recycle, recycle.
Reduce, reuse, recycle.
It’s easy to do.
‘Cause your world is my world,
and my world is your world.
Reduce, reuse, recycle.
It’s easy to do!
Tristan will be cleaning up trash today in the area around his school. Lindsay will be making “seed bombs” for the yard! The younger ones will read stories about how we affect and take care of our environment. We will talk about what those big words in the books mean. Perhaps we’ll think of some new ways to be the “energy savers” they love to be. Maybe we could all find some little way to help take care of our Earth today… and every day! It’s the only Earth we’ve got. Think beyond yourself and remember that we all share this planet and are handing her down to our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. So pick up the trash, plant a tree, reuse a shopping bag, start a compost, make a rain barrel, use one less paper towel or take one less trip in your car. Let’s all help the Earth in our own little corner of it. It’s a worthy cause and the responsible thing to do.
