In our house the Christmas spirit is in full swing… preparations are being made, parties are being attended, scents from the kitchen waft through the house, secret stashes lurk in undisturbed corners, letters are being written, envelopes are being addressed, packaging tape is bought, children are scrambling to cover the gifts they are working hard on, carols sound intermittently from instruments being practiced for coming holiday concerts or recitals and lists are being checked. Even the cats are being extra loving and are trying their hardest to behave in spite of the wonders of the season.
Nathan is practicing his ability to sleep anywhere through anything so he will be sure to be asleep when the man in red arrives and the clock strikes midnight on the 24th.
Kaitlyn actually “moved” Nathan off the couch herself when I was not in the room. She said she didn’t want him to fall. He slept through it all. Now if only I could get him to nap in his own bed during nap time!!!
