Pumpkin Frenzy

Rick, Tristan and Kaitlyn in particular all really enjoyed carving pumpkins this year.

Tristan designed his own little pumpkin face complete with stitches he carved into the side of the face.  Kaitlyn was helpful with drawing the faces with crayon before the carving took place AND she had fun with where and how to place eyeballs.

Three spooky jack-o-lanterns have left us with many seeds for roasting and art projects.  Their carved out features left us with about 10 cups of roasted pumpkin for our favorite muffins and pies.  We have yet to roast the other non-carved spookies.  Nathan likes to eat the cooked squash by the spoonful, he discovered as he was helping me bake.

Happy Halloween!
