Anyone who knows my husband at all will realize that he’s come a long way over the years as far as eating produce. He finally figured out a couple of months ago that cantaloupe is really good. When he went to the store this week he himself went in search of the perfectly ripe cantaloupe for the purpose of making “Ben & Jerry’s” Cantaloupe ice cream. The ice cream maker is Rick’s personal kitchen toy. “Jerry” claims, Rick read, that this is one of his favorite flavors and if Ben & Jerry could figure out how to make quantities of this flavor then they would market it. So Rick had to check out the recipe.
Mmmm! Delicious. It is a nice, light summer dessert. Very refreshing.
Later we found the cleanup crew hard at work. Scruffles LOVES cantaloupe and won’t leave it alone. Too funny! We appreciate any help we can get around here.
Mmmmmm! This sounds delicious. I just made frozen mango yogurt - which was okay, but I probably won't make it again. (Not exactly a ringing endorsement, is it?)
