Rick and I were out on a date a couple weeks ago when we ran into a store selling a nice variety of trees on clearance. We were wishing for a bigger yard right about then. Having debated for a year about what to do with the yard where we cut down the Mulberry tree, paying only 10 dollars per tree seemed like the answer.
We figured we had enough room for two dwarf peach trees which are now planted in our side yard and are even growing a couple of peaches. While we will hope for plentiful peaches in our future, regardless of their yield it will be nice to have privacy and shade in a few years once again.
Yea! A peach tree is on our short list of garden things to buy next spring. The one I wanted was a larger tree for $100. It wasn't in the budget this year.
