Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

This morning, Kaitlyn and I made some fun cookies for the occasion of St. Patrick’s Day. 

Kaitlyn rolled and cut out heart shapes.

 

Nathan wore green for this holiday and ate a snack while watching us work.

 

We pushed three heart shapes together to look like…

A SHAMROCK!  But no stems.  Who wants to eat stems, anyway?

 

 

 

 

 

Then we frosted the cookies green and put on sprinkles.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Yum!  We had to try them before we serve them for dessert after dinner tonight.  The icing is a little too lemony for Kaitlyn but there are some of us who love the flavor of lemon.  We also kept plenty of plain ones. 

 

 

 

 

The cookies were voted a winner by all and were great whether iced or plain.
